In the Summer of 2022, I took part in a trip to the McGill Arctic Research Station (MARS). In this trip, we installed the first ALBATROS antenna stations on site.
In the summer of 2021, a team went up the Station Uapishka of northern Quebec to install the first fully autonomous engineering run of an ALBATROS antenna station. We also took advantage of our time there to prototype the new antenna and front-end electronics board, since radio quiet sites are hard to come by these days! Check out the blog post for some action shots of the science we did, as well as some pictures of the beautiful scenery.
